Laugh Out Loud!
Thursday, April 30, 2009
For anyone interested in really delicious, clean water....you will want to check out the Berkey water filter system!
I've had my eye on this for almost 10 years
and finally decided to become a dealer.
Finally, we won't have to haul those 5 gallon
bottles to the store for refills anymore!
You can see they come in different sizes....
and we're buying the "Royal" - which is the middle one (see arrow).
It's made of stainless steel, uses no electricity, and
looks really nice in the kitchen!
Please give me a call or email and I will answer
any question you may have and be glad to
take an order.
Here's more info:
The versatile Royal Berkey® system is the ideal system for use at home with large families, travel, outdoor activities or during unexpected emergencies.
This powerful system purifies both treated water and untreated raw water from such sources as remote lakes, streams, stagnant ponds and water supplies in foreign countries, where regulations may be substandard at best. Perfect for outdoor activities and a must in hostile environments where electricity, water pressure or treated water may not be available.
The Royal Berkey® system removes pathogenic bacteria, cysts and parasites entirely and extracts harmful chemicals such as herbicides, pesticides, VOCs, organic solvents, radon 222 and trihalomethanes. It also reduces nitrates, nitrites and unhealthy minerals such as lead and mercury. This system is so powerful it can remove red food coloring from water without removing the beneficial minerals your body needs. Virtually no other system can duplicate this performance.
Constructed of highly polished 304 stainless steel, the system comes complete with two purification elements and utilizes the latest technological advances. This system has a storage capacity of about 3.25 gallons (12.3 liters) and when in use it stands 23” in height with a diameter of 9.5”. The upper chamber nests within the lower chamber for transport and stands only 15.25” in height.
Configured with two Black Berkey® purification elements the system will purify up to 4 Gallons (15.1 liters) per hour*. This system can be expanded to use four purification elements and is capable of purifying up to 8 Gallons (30.3 liters) per hour*.
* Flow rate calculated with upper chamber full to top. Flow rate decreases as water level declines
Only $275

HAPPY DAY!!!
Wednesday, February 11, 2009
Happy Valentine's Day!!The best love note ever written was several thousand years ago
from Jehovah God to His children
in Isaiah 43:
"You are precious in my sight ... and I love you."
Okay.... everyone wants an update on our situation...
> josiah is looking daily for jobs. His last day is the 20th (next week).
He gets a couple month's severance pay.
> chandler's work has been steady...but is never a sure thing.
(like, he has no inspections for tomorrow)
> i will be doing weddings with Forte' Events----but we have none as of yet.
> I'm applying to substitute teach in a local Christian school
....but they may be overflowing with subs.
>> march 15th tiffany, the boys & i are going to georgia for about 3 weeks
to be with nathan & courtney for the birth....so i can't exactly get a real job yet.
> again, with so many people out of work i'm not sure there are
any part-time jobs available.
> housing:
- our rent house goes on Auction March 25th
- then there is a 10 day "grace period"
- then the paper work takes 30 days
- sometime during that time they will give us the specific date we need to be out.
> we are hoping it won't be before May 1st.....
so there's no point in finding something now because we can live here FREE until then!
I have my good days and not-so-good days. We are trying not to worry...but nonetheless feel a great deal of stress and pressure not knowing exactly what to do. I think those are the times we are to be very still and wait until the Lord opens up a door ...so we won't go in the wrong direction.
Thank you so much for your concern and prayers. It's our friends who are holding us up to the Lord that means so much.
In the olden days you could always go to the "poor farm"---but i've yet to locate that on a map in 2009!!!
Maybe Mr. Obama will send us a check.
